The book Democratic Governance in Timor-Leste: Reconciling the Local and the National (ed. D. Mearns) containing papers from the conference held at Charles Darwin University in February 2008 will be launched by The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory, The Honourable Jane Aagard MLA, at the Northern Territory Parliament on Friday 31 October 2008.
