Radio Televisaun Timor Leste 22 January 2009 - Minister for Planning and Finance, Emilia Pires, said the Government had set a deadline for the NGOs to submit their financial reports to the Government regarding the state budget allocated to their programs in 2008.

US$,6 million for NGOs passed
Timor Post 22 January 2009 - The subsidy to be allocated for NGOs of US$,6 million has passed, but the majority of parliamentary members from Fretilin opposed it and wanted to reduce it to US$,5 million from the referred total subsidies.
