12 November 1991 Massacre skeletons to be taken to Australia Timor Post 15 April 2009 - Sixteen skeletons believed to be those of victims of the 12 November 1991 which were exhumed by the Australian and Argentinean joint forensic team and the Timorese National Police (PNTL) officers at Hera cemetery are planned to be taken to Australia for laboratory analyses.

Woman detained over murdering her baby: Police Radio Televisaun Timor Leste 14 April 2009 - The Timorese Operational Police Commander, Inspector Mateus Fernandes, said the police had detained a woman in Kaikoli suburb in the Capital Dili as she was suspected of being murdering her own baby.

Fretilin urges court to process assassination attempt case Radio Televisaun Timor Leste 15 April 2009 - Fretilin has urged the court to speed up the processes in the case of the attempted assassination of President Jose Ramos Horta and an violent ambush of Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao on February 11 last year.

SEAPA criticises Timorese media law submission Radio Televisaun Timor Leste 15 April 2009 - The South East Asia Journalists Association (SEAPA) has strongly criticised the Timorese media law submission which seemed to threaten freedom of the press in the country.

CNRT-PD disagree with Horta's proposal to dissolve the Parliament Timor Post 15 April 2009 - MPs from The National Congress for Timorese Reconstruction (CNRT) and the Democratic Party (PD) have said they disagreed with President Jose Ramos Horta who threatened to dissolve the Parliament if the MPs were not active and not working optimally in the Parliament.
