UNMIT to strengthen judicial institutions: SRSG Atul Khare Radio Televisaun Timor Leste 20 April 2009 - The United Nations Secretary General's Special Representative in Timor-Leste, Atul Khare, said the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste would help strengthen the country's judicial institutions by increasing human resource in justice sector.

CNRT prefers appointing national prosecutor to become Deputy Prosecutor-General Timor Post , 20 April 2009 - MP Virginia Belo from the National Congress for Timorese Reconstruction (CNRT) said they preferred President Jose Ramos Horta to appoint a national prosecutor as deputy prosecutor general, as this was a way how the Timorese prosecutors can improve their skills and knowledge rather that appointing Paulo Remeido.
