Government and UNMIT decide to hand over mandate to PNTL Radio Televisaun Timor Leste 14 May 2009 - The Timorese Government led by Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao and the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT) led by Atul Khare have made a decision to hand over security responsibility to the Timorese National Police (PNTL).

Govt to contact Portugal PM about approaching ANACOM Timor Post 14 May 2009 - Deputy Minister for Infrastructures Jose Manuel Carrascalao said the Timorese Government would contact the Portuguese government to press Portugal's Telecommunications Authority (ANACOM) to change contract for the Timor Telecom Company.
