Does anyone else know anything about this bizarre event? Please let us know if you do.

Indonesia is a long way still from a democratic state and as long as the military is not under strict and unquestionable civilian control - with its economic and political powers stripped completely away.

The Indonesian military is yet to be held accountable for the decades-long genocide in East Timor when its members committed gross violations of human rights and crimes against humanity inflicted on the East Timorese.

These types of illegal incursions into the sovereign territory of an independent state are a grave violation of international law.
