Police arrest 6 Indonesian women suspected of being prostitutes
10 December 2012 - The East Timor National Police (PNTL) in the Dili District police station in Komoro have arrested six Indonesian citizens in the Dili suburb of Marconi who are suspected of being prostitutes.
Suara Timor Lorosae reported on 5 December 2012 that the Komoro Police Station Commander Mateus said that the six suspected prostitutes had no passports when they were arrested.
The women have been handed over to the immigration police for investigation purposes.
