Police continue investigating public car attacks in Fatuahi

Radio Timor-Leste, February 1, 2011 language source: Tetun - The Timorese National Police (PNTL) continues to investigate attacks on cars by an unknown gang of youths in Fatuahi, a suburb of the Capital of Dili.

The PNTL Operational Commander Eugenio Pereira said the facts show that an unknown group attacked a car and that attack has left two people injured.

Commander Pereira confirmed that the police are currently investigating the case in which some gangs of youths have been identified as suspects in the case.

"The group that attacked the car numbers around 20 to 30 people. The police are still investigating the case," Pereira said. He added that the PNTL and the Military Police were dispatched to the scene and responded to the situation.
