Independente, April 2, 2012 Dili District Court has received an official letter from the National Parliament which confirmed that they already removed the political immunity of the Justice Minister Lucia Lobato.
Dili District Court Judge Administrator, Duarte Tilman said that the Appellate Court already forwarded the referred letter to them and court had set the trial date for May and there is no impediment for Ms. Lobato to face the court
“We always respect the principle of the presumption of innocence that the constitution guarantees- we see when the tribunal decides,” Tilman said.
