Suara Timor Loro Sa'e, January 13, 2011 language source: Tetun - President of the Appellate Court, Claudio Ximene, has held a meeting with President Jose Ramos Horta talking on the progresses achieved by the courts in the last two years.
Ximenes said the justice sector of the country was slower, but it was moving forward with the country's development.
Ximenes affirmed that Timor-Leste is a new country, but it has achieved several advances in various sectors, such as in the field of justice. He added that the trial process and the verdicts made the courts should be clear and fair for all.
He also said Timor-Leste had also planned to set up an audit court and that needed human resources to support it.
