Source: Radio Timor-Leste, March 6, 2012 language source: Tetun - The National Election Commission (CNE) has filed a number of electoral crimes during the presidential candidates’ campaigning. Speaking to journalists, CNE President Faustinho Cardoso said the electoral crimes committed by the presidential candidates’ supporters during the political campaigns included tearing Mr. Taur Matan Ruak’s posters and banners in Baucau and Maliana.
Cardoso also said some MPs, Government officials and F-FDTL officers were on board the public cars during Mr. Ruak and Fernando “Lasama” Araujo’s political campaigns.
Some other offences committed were involving children in the political campaigns of Mr. Lu-Olo, Taur Matan Ruak and Rogerio Tiago Lobato, he said.
