Police Operational Commander, Armando Monteiro said that the Kupang local Government had deployed five battalions at the border to strengthen the security in the run up of the Timorese presidential elections.
Monteiro confirmed that if Timor-Leste wanted to hold political campaigns in Oe-Cusse district going through the land border should be coordinated well with them [Indonesian Military Force].
