Portuguese GNR training results in another police officer death

East Timor Legal News 29/08/2011 Source: Independente - A Close Personal Security officer (CSP), Chief Agent Alfredo da Costa, who was hit with electric current by the Portuguese GNR Police during last month's training has died.

Da Costa was receiving an intensive medical treatment at Pertamina Hospital in Jakarta for about one month, but then he passed away last Thursday (25/8).

After the training, da Costa was taken to the National Hospital of Guido Valadares for medical treatment and he had to be taken Jakarta as he was seriously injured.

During the GNR training two CSP officers have died because of the training methods.

It is a very sad thing that the death of a police officer has been happend so it will be a big loss to a country as this are the officers which are making the country proud.
