Illegal VSAT Antennas ordered switched off by Timor Telecommunications Regulator

Announcement: To inform to all communities, National NGO's, International NGO's and Government Institution which using the VSAT Antenna without authorization from Autoridade Reguladora das Comunicacoes-ARCOM (Communication Regulatory Authority), starting from 01 May 2009 its strongly, recommended to switch off the operation of the VSAT antenna which have been identify by ARCOM.

The National NGO's, International NGO's and Government Institution which have been identify by ARCOM as follows;

ARCOM wants to declare that the Company/NGO's mention below are identify as illegal providers which have been provide the illegal connection to some NGO's and Government institutions.

They are: 1. Elite Computer
2. CCS
3. WCS

ARCOM suggests to all entities to not connecting to the company as above mentioned because they have no authorization for the frequency spectrum and no authorization to use the equipment as a Class License and Apparatus License. If there is any operation of Illegal VSAT after 01 May 2009 which caused the interference to the communication systems of other authorized entities and interfere to Communication system for Military Purposed which effected to national and International security, the company and the users will be fully responsibility refer to the existing Law in Timor Leste.
