SIC hands Burmese people to Immigration police

Timor-Post August 7, 2012 language source: Tetun- The Timorese National Police (PNTL) for Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) Commander Superintendent Calistro Gonzaga said the SIC already handed over the four Burmese people who ask for political asylum.

'Four Burmese people who ask for political asylum we handed over to immigration department to take another decision towards them,' he said.

Gonzaga added the four Burmese people come to the country to ask for political asylum therefore SIC hands them to immigration police to take another decision, he said.
