Suara Timor Loro Sa'e, May 17, 2010 language source: Tetun - Director of the Judicial System Monitoring Program (JSMP), Luis Sampaio, said the country’s politicians should not interfere with the judicial sector’s role.
Sampaio stressed that many expressed their concerns over the judicial process in the country, but the process was still developing.
Sampaio also said in some cases there was misunderstanding between one group and other groups, yet legal process was going on in all districts and renovations to facilities.
He added that justice process in the country would move forward, because the Government had started providing proper facilities for the prosecutors and public defenders.
