Timor Post, March 5, 2010 language source: Tetun - The President, Jose Ramos Horta, has promulgated a decree law that regulates and limits visas for foreigners visiting the country.
President Horta said that there is an agreement that foreigners should have a short-visit visa and transit visa in advance, particularly for Indonesians and the citizens of other countries that have signed an agreement with Timor-Leste about this issue.
The law is created to regulate foreigners when visiting the country but also because of national and international security reason.
