Regarding to Tempo Semanal Investigative reporting on the allegation of Corruption that Involved Minister of Justice published in few months ago, yesterday (12/12/08) an official from the Dili prosecution office have visit Tempo Semanal to notified the Director of the paper and demand Mr. Belo to come before District Dili Prosecution office for Interrogation on the case of defamation in January 19th 2009. In the notification letter didn't mention any case but after Belo insisted he was allowed to know the purpose of the notification. Tempo Semanal weekly paper and it's Director as suspect and the victim is Minister of Justice Lucia Brandao Lobato. Minister Lucia Lobato has publicly announced in mid November that she has make a formal complaint to the Prosecutor General office to claim reparation for her good name.
