Meeting of the Council of Ministers on September 2nd, 2009
The Council of Ministers held a meeting this Wednesday in its Room, in the Government House, in Dili, and has approved:
1. The Decree-Law that modifies the Salary Regime for the National Police of Timor-Leste.
The Decree-Law has reviewed some points of Salary Regime for the National Police of Timor-Leste, particularly for transitional regime. So, the Government realizes a temporary establishment of the payment levels, until the members of National Police of Timor-Leste can be positioned in their correspondent echelon.
This new reward Regime is to appraise the enthusiasm from police army and, at the same time, to set up conditions for an accomplished and qualified counter regarding to the security and harmony for the citizens.
For this purpose, a more adequate salary regime is to be assured for the National Police of Timor-Leste concerning to the category of public service they afford for the sake of the community
2. The Council of Ministers has also analyzed the Decree-Law endorsing the organic for Migration Department.
